Thanks you!

Hello, Alaska,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We will be announcing information about our upcoming 2016 auditions after we have selected directors, a process which will complete in mid-January. We anticipate that the auditions will take place around mid-March, and we do plan to accept video submissions from out of state actors. If you have any further questions, please email us at hampshire.shakespeare.company@gmail.com
Thank you,
Sara Berliner
2016 season producer
Hi do you have to be apart of the company to audition and when will you be announcing upcoming auditions?
Hello, Astrid,
No, you do not have to be a prior member of the company to audition. Auditions will likely be in the third week of March, more information to be announced by the end of this week.
Wonderful, I would love to know those exact dates in March when you will start accepting video auditions and when you stop accepting auditions Will you be out in Los Angeles at all doing auditions? And if not, where do I send in my video submission?
Thank you!

Hello, Alaska! Although we have not officially announced this yet, our main audition sessions will be happening in Boston and Amherst. We will be accepting video submissions at hampshire.shakespeare.company@gmail.com, along with a resume. We ask that your video begin with a brief introduction of yourself, and present 18-20 lines of Shakespearean text, preferably memorized. The camera should be far back enough that your body is visible, and since the productions may be movement-heavy, you are encouraged to make strong physical choices. You may be asked to provide additional information as a callback.
The latest day to submit video auditions will be March 14th, but we will be accepting them starting immediately.
Hello, Astrid,
Auditions for the two mainstage productions (Midsummer and Macbeth) will take place on March 11th and 14th from 5 to 8 pm in Emily Dickinson Hall on Hampshire College campus in Amherst. There will also be a Boston-area audition date, and video auditions will be accepted. Email hampshire.shakespeare.company@gmail.com to sign up for an hour-long slot or to ask for more information.
